New Patient Priority with Insurance
40 minute in-office appointment with Dr. Stermer. Insurance will be billed separately.
Service Description
Note: This is not a replacement for insurance. This is an out-of-pocket custom convenience service. Your insurance will be billed as usual following the priority appointment, including copay if applicable. You have the option to schedule an appointment during regular office hours instead of using the New Patient Priority Appointment service.
Cancellation Policy
Priority Appointments Priority Appointments provide expedited access to Dr. Stermer for an initial consultation. With Insurance The Priority Appointment fee is separate from medical services billed to your insurance. Your insurance will be billed as usual, and you remain responsible for applicable copays, deductibles, coinsurance, or non-covered services. Without Insurance / Self-Pay Patients may also book a Priority Appointment without insurance. The Priority fee covers the initial consultation. Any ongoing self-pay follow-up visits are $250 per visit. While insurance is not required to establish care, we strongly recommend maintaining health insurance, as medications, laboratory testing, imaging, infusions, and other treatments may be costly without coverage. Cancellation & Rescheduling Priority Appointment fees are non-refundable. With at least 24 hours’ notice, we are happy to move your appointment to another available Priority time. Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours, or missed appointments, will result in forfeiture of the Priority Appointment fee. A Priority Appointment provides access to Dr. Stermer for the initial scheduled visit and does not guarantee ongoing follow-up with Dr. Stermer. Future care may be provided by another member of the One Rheumatology clinical team, as appropriate.
